Journeymen
Is the highest non-management painter NCI hires. These painter’s extensive knowledge in all aspects of the painting process. They can work unsupervised on a project from start to finish.
Crew Leaders
Are the entry-level management position for NCI painters. Crew leaders manage a team of 3-4 painters on a job relaying information correctly from the Foreman to their team. They assist in on-the-job training for lower-tier painters in NCI.
Foremen
Can effectively run painting teams anywhere from 3-20 painters. They handle multiple duties from training lower-tier painters to working directly with Superintendents and Project Managers to complete the jobs in a timely manner.
Superintendents
Will oversee and be involved in all hiring, firing, training, disciplinary actions, performance reviews, etc. of field employees. They will also oversee foremen on multiple ongoing projects while managing small projects where a project manager is not necessary.
Project Managers
Help maintain and cultivate client relationships on the job site. They can manage multiple painting crews and jobs while scheduling upcoming jobs. They prepare accurate and appropriate monthly billing based on current job completion status.
Estimators
Are the front lines for creating new work and maintaining positive client relationships for NCI. Estimators can create accurate proposals for clients that include work scope with pertinent clarifications and or exclusions related to the bid submission.
