Entry-level painters learning the commercial painting trade through hands-on experience and on-the-job training. Apprentices work alongside Journeymen and Foremen while developing their skills, learning proper techniques, and gaining experience to advance within NCI.
Experienced painters who can work independently and help lead a team on the jobsite. Journeymen are skilled in all aspects of commercial painting, assist with training apprentices, and work closely with Foremen to keep projects moving safely and efficiently.
Can effectively run painting teams anywhere from 3–20 painters. They handle multiple responsibilities, from training lower-tier painters to working directly with Superintendents and Project Managers to complete jobs in a timely manner.
Will oversee and be involved in all hiring, firing, training, disciplinary actions, performance reviews, etc. of field employees. They will also oversee foremen on multiple ongoing projects while managing small projects where a project manager is not necessary.
Help maintain and cultivate client relationships on the job site. They can manage multiple painting crews and jobs while scheduling upcoming jobs. They prepare accurate and appropriate monthly billing based on current job completion status.
Are the front lines for creating new work and maintaining positive client relationships for NCI. Estimators can create accurate proposals for clients that include work scope with pertinent clarifications and or exclusions related to the bid submission.
National Coatings offers a 100% match on employee contributions up to 4% of annual wages. Eligible employees must be at least 21 years old and have completed 90 days of employment.
National Coatings pays 95% of employee-only coverage on our HSA medical plan. Employees enrolled in the plan are also eligible for a dollar-for-dollar company match on Health Savings Account contributions, up to $1,925.
Coverage is available after 90 days of employment.
Dental, vision, short-term disability, long-term disability, and accident coverage are available after 90 days of employment.
Employees can earn incentives for referring qualified candidates to join the National Coatings team.
Sign-on bonuses are available for qualifying positions.
