St. Vrain Platteville, CO
St. Vrain Station in Platteville, Colorado is a natural gas fired combined cycle plant that consists of three combustion turbines and five heat recovery steam generators that feed the plants original steam turbine. This gives the plant a Power Production Capability of 965 megawatts, making it the largest gas-fired generating station in Colorado. National Coatings coated two new combustion turbine units in 2009, and we continue to be on-site doing miscellaneous maintenance coating.
