National Coatings is seeking experienced, reliable subcontractor companies and crews to support commercial finish projects across the country. We are looking for dependable trade partners who can provide qualified labor for painting, wallcoverings, specialty coatings, flooring, and related scopes while meeting our expectations for safety, quality, scheduling, and communication.
How the Partnership Works
National Coatings partners with qualified subcontractors to complete commercial and industrial coating projects throughout our service area. We work with experienced crews that can deliver high-quality workmanship while maintaining our standards for safety, professionalism, and project execution.
As a subcontractor partner, you provide the experienced crew and qualified labor. National Coatings provides project coordination, equipment, scheduling expectations, project direction, and ongoing support from our project management team to help keep each job running smoothly.
Projects are awarded on a contract basis, with work available based on project needs, qualifications, availability, and performance. Our goal is to build long-term relationships with reliable subcontractor partners who consistently deliver quality work and represent National Coatings professionally on every job.

What We Typically Look For:
- Five or more years of commercial finish experience
- An established crew of three or more
- Ability to travel based on project needs
- Ability to work on secure or controlled job sites
- Experience using Procore or similar software
- Ability to meet applicable safety, insurance, and project requirements
Available subcontracting opportunities vary by division, geographic location, project scope, and current workload. We review each submission based on our active and upcoming projects and will contact qualified subcontractors as opportunities become available.
